Pluto ~ Cocker Spaniel (on trial 17/6/15)

Pluto is a beautiful black male Cocker Spaniel who was one year old on June the 2nd.

Pluto is having a wonderful time discovering what it is like to be a dog! Having never been with other dogs, or out for a walk, everything is a new adventure. Pluto is very keen to be loved and enjoys being cuddled and resting his face into any human around! He loves sitting on laps and being patted. He has a dear little face and is always egar to see what next activity awaits him.

Pluto was initially a little overwhelmed by the other three dogs in the foster family and wasn’t quiet sure what was expected of him. He is unsure of toys but is learning how to play with the other dogs and also when it is time to sit and have a rest.

Pluto has not had any experience walking on a lead but has been having daily practice. He is also learning how to sit and not to jump up. Pluto is a quick learner and any consistent future training is sure to have pleasing results. Pluto does not chew or dig and has spent time with chickens and rabbits, only showing curiosity, not any desire to dig into cages or bark at them.

Pluto is waiting for someone to love him and although having spent his first year as an outside dog, he says he would love a bed inside so he can be near his humans.

Pluto might be best in a house with another dog or dogs, or with people at home more often than not. He has spent a lot of time alone and he says he would rather not do that anymore as it is too lonely and makes him sad.
