Hey there have you met Tess! Tess came into the shelter as her owners could no longer care for her through no fault of her own however she is now ready for her new forever home! Tess is a very sweet and gentle girl who loves being around people. She would love to go to a family where she is incorporated into lots of family activities. She will also require regular exercise and play time. Tess absolutely loves toys! It is a good idea to leave Tess with lots of toys when she is left alone to keep her from becoming destructive and bored. Bones chews and treats are also good to give her when she's left alone because she loves her food!This lovely girl has shown here at the shelter that she can become quite excited and playful when meeting other dogs. If you have another dog at home please bring them in to ensure that they get along! Tess can be a little jumpy when she gets excited so it is recommended that her new owners work on her obedience and manners with her. She loves being around people however she is a little uncomfortable with close handling. She doesn't like to be smothered so due to his she can only be rehomed with children over 12 years old.
