About YaYa *On Trial in His New Home*
*YAYA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Super cute and as springy as a beanpole, is little mister YaYa. Approximately five years old, he is full of fun and effervescence.
This is one excitable little dog. He really likes to move. Energetic to the core, he just wants to play, play, play! YaYa likes to be the centre of attention and just loves humans of all sizes. We suspect he may have been an only dog previously, so while he gets along perfectly well and plays with other dogs he can be a little dominating in a home situation, so would best suited to a home where he can have his humans all to himself or with a laidback, passive dog for company.
Loveable YaYa is a great companion with cats that are dog friendly and isn’t bothered by the dog next door who likes to have a bark at him through the fence. Toys aren’t really of interest; his sole priority is to be a ball of energy! His favourite game is chasey and he doesn’t mind if he’s chasing or being chased. \ And when he’s not playing YaYa loves to sit up beside you on the couch while you watch tv – he is very good at jumping up there and enticing you to sit with him with his big beautiful eyes!
While Ya Ya doesn’t appear to have had much training in his past life, he is eager to learn hand signals and vocal cues. He appears to be quite the little circus performer when there are treats involved: he can walk backwards on his hind legs as well as bounce up and down on them and then turn around in circles! We don’t think he’s spent much time on a lead, so will need some more practice at this in his forever home.
Ya Ya is housetrained and enjoys an indoor / outdoor lifestyle which we’d want to see continued. He is used to sleeping inside with his human on their comfy bed or on a couch. He is slowly becoming used to the idea of his own bed, but prefers it to be elevated thank you very much!
An unusual mix of Australian terrier, Dachshund and Maltese he’s a good-looking little fella who will need regular brushing and the occasional professional groom to keep his coat in tip-top condition. He would suit a family who want a furry playmate or a human who has time to spend with him, so he’s not alone for long stretches of time as he thrives on company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
