Celeste - 8 months old

Introducing the beautiful Celeste. She is an 8 month old Kelpie cross, with soft and fuzzy fur and golden eyes.

Still very much a puppy, Celeste adores company and attention and loves to play games or with the latest toy. Everything is new and exciting to her but she is learning quickly what things are toys and what she is not allowed to play with.

Full of smiles and a playful and inquisitive nature makes this girl a delight to watch as she enjoys the world around her. In the evenings she likes nothing better than to cuddle up with you on the couch, or on her bed by your feet for a nap.

Celeste has spent her short life prior to coming into care with her sister, but isn’t showing any signs of anxiety from being separated. She hasn’t known any other dogs though, so would benefit from some time and attention to help get her socialised. She has a bone missing from a toe on her rear left foot, but it doesn’t cause her any pain, nor does it stop her from doing anything.

Celeste hasn't been tested with cats so her reaction is unknown.

Her size and temperament makes her a good companion for young children, but she hasn’t been around any while in her foster home so if you have young kids you will have to introduce them to each other with care and supervision, just like any new pet.

She is almost completely house trained, as long as you remember to take her out every few hours, she’ll promptly do her business and come back inside. Make sure to let her out before bed time and first thing in the morning and she won’t have any accidents. She sits for her dinner and is learning good behaviour on the lead.

Like most dogs Celeste would benefit from some structured obedience training and socialisation. She rides well in the car and will jump in as soon as you open the door and sit or lie happily in the back seat until we get to our destination.

She’s a happy, friendly and smart girl who's searching for her forever home where she can shower you in kisses and love.
