About Rosie
Rosie is a cross of many breeds! When she first came to us she was very depressed and was continually looking for her former owners even though it was obvious to us that she had never been walked and was totally unfit. Now she is more relaxed and happier - and it is as a result of time and effort put into turning Rosie around by her carer. Rosie has learnt to walk really well on her "Easy Walker Harness" and enjoys her long walks both on and off leash.
Rosie new home will need to be able to provide her daily excercise and it would be nice to have a friendly medium/large breed dog for Rosie to play those doggy games
Rosie also enjoys socialising with dogs of all sizes and is ok with other dogs provided they do want to dominate her and her playful side has really come through in the last month or so. We have added some new pics of Rosie with her "pack" and at play with a visiting friendly golden retriever. \
In the second last picture Rosie is waiting patiently with her foster brother Bruno while her foster carer grabs a quick coffee on the run.
Bruno has found his new home, in the last picture Rosie is praying that she finds her forever home soon as she knows how much love she can give to her new owners:)
Rosie is housetrained, so must have access inside (not necessarily to all areas) as she just loves to be with her humans, loves children but probably more suited to a home with older children as she can be a bit over friendly at times and may knock a younger child over in her enthusiasm to show her love. Rosie travels well in the car.
Rosie can be viewed in Kirrawee or in the Kingsgrove area or at a convenient time in Sydney Park.
Her only vice these days is that she does not like cats, so a home without cats, rabbits, chickens etc is a must
