Electra ~ Staffy x Lab puppy (Trial 31/7/15)

Hi I’m Electra. I’m a 5 month old staffy x puppy. Everyone thinks that I’m a staffy x Labrador as my brother Ezra and I look very similar to Labradors. \ My foster mum keeps telling me this is an unbelievable combination and that I am sweet, playful and very loyal. I’m growing all the time and by the looks of my long legs and big feet, I may end up being a big beautiful bundle of love.

But I’m not just a pretty face. I have really impressed my foster family with the amazing progress I have made since being in foster care. I have learnt so many things and I have great manners now. I know that I don’t get pats if I jump up, so now I have perfected how to sit, stay and shake so that it is impossible to resist patting and cuddling me. I used to be very frightened of the outside world, but now I’m really enjoying my walks and meeting new dogs and their owners. \ Sometimes I forget how nice everyone is and freeze as I’m scared for a moment - but this only lasts a moment nowadays and I’m sure that soon enough I will master walking confidently all the time.

I’m pretty good off lead too but sometimes I get startled by loud noises and barking dogs, so my new family will need to be able to keep helping me with my confidence. It will be worth it for the smiles I will bring you!

I have such a fun, energetic personality when I start playing. Sometimes I just play with myself, running around my yard throwing toys everywhere. I absolutely adore my foster sister and like to chase her round the yard and then snuggle and cuddle with her after we have worn ourselves out. I’m a gentle happy dog that gets along with everyone. My foster mum tells me all the time that I am super clever. I even pick up new tricks just by watching my sister do them. I’m completely toilet trained, do what I’m asked and I can’t wait for cuddle time with my family. They love cuddling me because I have such a shiny soft coat.

I would best suit a furever home with another dog or someone who is home a lot as I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes as training and socialization will give help with my confidence. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family to help me grow and develop into a happy well-rounded adult.
