About Frankie ~Border Collie X Pup(trial pending 4/7/15)
This gorgeous 8 week old pup is Frankie, Frankie’s breed is unknown but we are thinking possibly Border Collie / Koolie x.
Frankie is a sweetheart, he has a watchful, calm side to him even as an excitable puppy. He is already sitting for treats and will respond really well to training as he has a desire to be good.
Frankie loves his people and sister. If he's unsure of a new situation he seeks reassurance by sitting on your feet!
He loves a snuggle, but also enjoys time by himself especially when he wants to stretch out and sleep. He loves to romp with his sister and would enjoy another dog.
He will need someone who is home a lot and able to spend the time training him. He loves children, other dogs and cats, is confident in new environments and will grow into a beautiful companion.
As Frankie is only a puppy he is not available for interstate adoption and can only be adopted to a loving family in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Central Coast areas so he can be brought back for desexing when he is old enough.
For more information or to meet Frankie, please contact his foster carer Paula on 0417210930 or email peebilly@cia.com.au . Frankie is in foster care in Jesmond, NSW (Newcastle).
Frankie's adoption fee is $450 and he is vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. DRN will pay for his desexing when he is old enough. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
