About Bruce (Brucey)
Hey doggie lovers, it's Bruce or 'Brucey' as my foster family would say....I'm a Ridgeback x snuggle bum and although I'm loving it in my foster home, my foster family would love to see me go to a great home of my very own.
I'm a gentle loving boy who enjoys hanging out with my foster buddy Koda...we play together, sleep together and do just about everything together. My foster mum is teaching me some basic commands and im learning to walk on the lead correctly. Being only 6 mths old, I will need to continue my training once I head off to my forever home, so that I grow up to be a well mannered, sociable boy. Once all the hard work is done, you'll experience the joy of owning a totally awesome dog!
I've mastered the 'sit' command already and love to please my foster mum. I'm great with kids and other dogs, but still feel a little uneasy around cats and rabbits, although I'm slowly warming to the rabbit. I would love to find a home where I am considered a part of the family and not the outside furniture.
I have so many amazing experiences yet to learn about, and I'm hoping to do that with my new family which I'm hoping will include another furry friend to play and hang out with while my family is out. I have had my big boy operation and vaccinations are up to date at this point. So if you think I may be the perfect addition to your home, please send through an enquiry and my foster mum can organise for you to meet with me.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training club will provide 3 free training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ so please utilise this awesome gift that will benefit both you and me.

When enquiring about Bruce, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
