About Princess
Princess was a tiny little street cat we caught living in our street, she was very fisty and living it tough with her colony until we started feeding and trapping them.
It took Princess a long time to come around to us and she is still getting there. Princess now allows pats from my mum and is learning to trust us, she needs a family of her own. She needs one on one care and love to bring her fully around and to trust humans again.
We are very busy and full and can't dedicate enough time to this beautiful girl. We are looking for a person with time and patients for this dear little soul. She would need a quite home where she wouldn't be picked up or touched in a rush, she would need a place to do her own thing. She is not a lap cat or a cat that is going to let you pay her right away.
You also can't pick her up so would need someone that has the time and space for princess.
Princess's siblings and mother cat have all been caught and homed and now we would love for this sweetie pie to find her furever home too.
Could you foster or adopt her?
Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack which contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue
