About Clara
Clara is a friendly pup with a beautiful red coat. She has learned basic obedience skills including to sit and walk on a lead, and she is house trained.
She is well socialised with dogs and we prefer that she go to a home where she will have a doggie friend to play with.
Working breeds are very intelligent and therefore require plenty of mental stimulation and exercise to prevent boredom. If you can meet Clara's needs as she grows into an adult with activities such as playing games, running, agility or obedience classes, you will be rewarded with a loving and loyal pet.
Clara is in foster care in WAGGA WAGGA, a 5-hour drive from Melbourne or Sydney.
This pet will come microchipped, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
5. Adoption transaction completed.
