About Kulu
Kulu is the ultimate winter warmer!
Kulu is the kind of dog who will throw herself on her back wagging her tail for some belly cuddles. Will always find a way to sneak onto your lap for more cuddles, and then tuck her nose under your arm for even more.
She loves zooming around in the garden/park playing fetch with the kids, and will happily be playing rough-house for hours on end with her doggie friends at the park!
Great around the kids, energetic bouncy personality yet very respectful around the house. Sits patiently for her food, does not jump on the couch, waits calmly at the door before walks, does not beg for food at the table.
Although she adores babies and kids, she does need supervision for families with very young children as she can knock them over due to her enthusiasm. She bounces!
Kulu goes with us everywhere and travels very well in the car, comes on bike rides, and is even mastering the sailboat! She is ok with staying at home, but much prefers company, even if just waiting in the car.
She is very easy going, and very responsive to training. She understands sit, drop the ball, go to bed, heel, stay and is learning ‘roll over’! She does however struggle to be recalled if there are more fun things to distract her (like other dogs).
Kulu does need regular exercise to burn all that energy, but given that, she is reasonably relaxed for the day.
Kulu is not suitable for a home where she has access to small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens or cats.
Kulu is a great all rounder who will fit into most families and lifestyles
Not available for interstate adoption.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
