Barney

**READY TO GO** Barney is the SWEETEST little guy. He is really gentle and quiet in nature. He loves sleeping and snuggling on your lap and has one of the loudest purrs- that never stops!

Barney is a shy boy and needs a quiet home with no young children but his confidence is improving everyday. He is not a 'hider' but at the beginning of meeting people does sit 'away' as he worries. He is very curious and this always gets him out of his comfort zone and exploring.

He loves a scratch and a play, also regularly found on his scratch post being a goose!

He is going to be a delight to have around he just needs a caring and understanding owner able to take the time he needs with him. He is an amazing boy, he just needs a hero of his own to help him blossom.

Barney was surrendered to a high kill city pound with his mum. They were on death row and they had decided they didn't deserve a chance.. Thankfully transferred into rescue, they were safe and sound and rehabilitation could take place. Both Barney and his mum Ella had clearly been around people, but they had very little trust.. It is easy to think abuse may have taken place as every time we moved our hands, both would cower.. But of course no assumptions.

Ella has since been adopted and Barney has been socialised with the other kittens who have made a huge impact with his confidence.
