Allie

Allie is a gorgeous dog with big golden eyes, she looks like she's wearing Egyptian eye liner. Allie was a cruelty case and has been in care at UNC for over a year, it has been a long healing journey we feel that she is finally ready to meet her forever family.

Allie was so frightened when she first arrived, she constantly cowered and hid from humans. She was afraid that she would be hurt and we gained her trust with a lot of patience and compassion. Allie is a very Zen dog at home, she's crate trained and retreats into her crate to sleep and eat or when she's overwhelmed. She loves soaking up the sun, snuggling on the couch and being close to the people that she loves. She can still be a little sad and fearful and her new family will have to be gentle and continue her rehabilitation so that Allie continues to gain confidence.

Allie needs a quiet home, with people that are around often and will take her for daily strolls and give unlimited cuddles. Allie likes dogs of a similar size and currently lives with 2 staffies, she's not so sure of smaller dogs and does not like cats!

Allie has really stolen our hearts with her gorgeous spirit, now may she steal yours xx
