Darby handsome kelpie x fella

Darby is very playful, loves balls (although not great at fetch) and squeaky toys. He is very affectionate, and will either nudge your hand or even gently grab it in his mouth for pats. He loves to lay next to you or on you if he gets a chance!

He will occasionally jump a bit when he first sees you, out of excitement, but this has also reduced alot from the initial few times, through instruction.

He is intelligent and picks up new instructions very quickly - example when we started going for walks. I asked him to sit at the curb of the road before crossing, after the second walk he picked up on the instruction and now for every walk he will sit with only a very gentle reminder - sometimes only a look.

Darby can pull a bit on the walks, but not totally unmanageable, and I think in time will improve on this. He can be distracted on the walks by cars and buses.

He is fostered with other dogs and and has gotten along with them well!

All in all a very lovely dog, who will make someone a lovely, loving friend.
