Kellie (D2964)

Kelpie X.

Are you looking for an exercise buddy and a dog you can train to do tricks? Kellie has great recall, will run alongside you off lead and can “High 10” with two paws when she’s sitting. She’s sociable with dogs and humans, but will give a warning bark to cars and people she doesn’t know, so makes a great watchdog.

She truly has the kelpie temperament so will need to be exercised twice a day to keep her relaxed and happy. And dog training will create an amazing bond between you as well as stimulating her mind with the types of challenges kelpies are bred for. She’ll need to be an only pet because she gets a bit too excited about having a live-in playmate.
