About "Requiem" - Purrfect Match
Requiem came into care very poorly on deaths door from a high kill Sydney pound. He was clinically emaciated and required fluids, heat pads, syringe feeding, medication and a days hospitalisation. This was due to neglect in the facility he was in. Requiem has bounced back and after a few weeks of isolation for a fungal infection is nearly ready for adoption.( Also FIV/Felv tested negative) Requiem is a sweet, affectionate boy with the usual energy levels of a kitten of his age :) He is accustomed to other cats and tentative, but fairly confident with friendly dogs. Requiem is fine with gentle children and is used to the usual hustle and bustle, and noises of a family home :) Toys, balls and scratching posts are very much favoured for entertainment.Requiem enjoys company so would be best in a home with another friendly feline, or going to a new home with a buddy from the same foster home. We are always happy to do discounts for sibling/ buddy adoptions. This boy is absolutely precious and has come so far since being so tiny and sickly. His coat is short but soft and shimmers with health. His lovely eyes are rimmed in black, further enhancing his colouring. Located at Port Macquarie.
Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
If a cat is being adopted sight unseen, as in distance adoptions, we do require a home check to ensure our cats safety.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
All ages of cats are an estimate only as per microchip paperwork supplied by council.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
