About Sasha
I'm the perfect companion - sweet, loving and gentle!
I'm a super easy going lady and a breeze to care for. I just want to live out my senior years being around my humans. I don't mind other dogs of a similar size but small, crazy dogs drive me up the wall.. And don't even get me started on cats! Children however are a different story. They bring out my mothering instincts and I love being around them.
I might be 9 years old but don't under estimate me. I'm still as fit as I was back in the day and love a good run around. Ok maybe I tire a bit sooner than I used to but I can sure still run fast.
I'm toilet trained and a real house guest. I won't chew on the furniture, scratch the doors or whine and bark - I'm a lady!
All I want is a home to call my own and lots of love and affection. I just want to live out my years in peace with my person.
Medical notes
Sasha is a happy, healthy dog. She is desexed, vaccinated, heart worm tested
(negative), temperament checked and is up to date with all preventative care.
As a senior pet, Sasha has also had a full blood test done which came back completely normal! She has also had a short course of Pentosan (arthritis) injections.
Sasha currently weighs 24kg
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs then please do not hesitate to email us and request an Interest in Adoption application form.
Once you submit your completed application form. We will review your suitability and if it sounds like you and the dog are a good match then we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you to meet with and spend some time with the dog. Please note, we do not conduct on the spot adoptions.
If both parties are still keen to proceed with the adoption then the next stage is for one of our volunteers to come out and conduct a brief property check.
If the adoption goes ahead a seven day settling in period is offered. If during that time, it is not working out for any reason, we will take the dog back for a 75% refund. We will also take the dog back at any point during their lifetime should you become unable to care for them however we will not be able to reimburse the adoption fee.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
