About Floyd *On Trial in His New Home*
*FLOYD IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Fun-loving Floyd is bursting with puppy love and playfulness. He is a shoe in for the title of super-wriggly bum of the year and is looking for an owner who will spend the time helping him reach his full potential; will it be with you?
Floyd loves to play, play, play yet he also loves pats and snuggles on the couch with you while you watch tv at night. He is boisterous, energetic and loves to rough and tumble with his brother Floyd.....and when they're not playing they're exploring the yard or just lying around enjoying the Autumn sunshine.
While in care Floyd has started to learn some basic commands such as “sit” and “down” – he’s totally food orientated which is helping with his training. He’s also learning how to walk on a lead and his foster carer is working on his toilet training so he can enjoy being inside and part of the household goings on in his forever home – he’s already mastered the doggie door so that’s a start. Being “terrier active” Floyd wouldn’t suit an elderly person and as he does jump up a lot when excited (which is fairly often!) he wouldn’t be good in a home with toddlers as he’d accidentally bowl them over.
Happy pup Floyd is quite low-maintenance, only requiring the occasional brush and bath to keep his coat in tip-top condition. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make him very happy indeed! Floyd would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle (he sleeps in a basket in his carers bedroom) with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own so long as he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a puppy as he’s used to having company and would more than likely get bored and up to mischief.
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up lively little Floyd then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
