About Lux ~ Chihuahua X (on trial 1/6/15)
Meet Lux, an adorable 10 month old Chihuahua X who is sure to melt your heart! This delightful little man just wants to give you endless amounts of love and affection.
He likes the idea of being a snuggly lap dog and will jump straight in and make himself comfortable. He will smother you in puppy dog kisses and nuzzle into you for cuddles. Any affection you give him, he will lap it all up!
Lux was sadly surrendered due to his family moving overseas. He is currently in foster care with 2 other small breed dogs and a 10 month old human baby and gets along well with them all. He spends most of his time indoors and will need a home that can accommodate this as well as someone who is home a lot and/or has another little dog for company.
Being only 10 months old, Lux is still learning how to navigate this big world. He knows how to sit and come and his foster mum is working on teaching him even more. Little Lux is very intelligent and catching on fast. He would benefit from someone with patience to provide ongoing training and love him even when he makes the inevitable mistakes along the way. Puppy school would definitely benefit him.
Lux is a typical playful pup but what makes him stand out is his ability to make anyone who meets him fall completely and utterly in love. Is it his jolly spirit? His affectionate, sweet nature? Those gorgeous puppy eyes? Maybe it's all of the above! All we know is, he sure is a precious little gem and deserves to find the perfect forever home!
For more information on Lux please contact Cassie via email at cass_7_skye@hotmail.com . He is in care in Aberglasslyn NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Lux’s adoption fee is $500 and includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
