About Shadow ~ Cattle Dog x (on trial 11/6/15)
Introducing Shadow, a very active and loving, male, 2 year old cattle dog cross, who is looking for his forever home. Shadow is a medium sized dog, with an easily maintained coat. He has a beautiful white coat with a special brown patch cover his ears and one eye.
Shadow would love to live with someone who can give him a lot of exercise and attention. He loves human attention and he especially loves kids but would suit older kids as he may accidently knock over young ones.
Shadow is only young and needs some basic training. He is a very quick learner and would love to use his brain, he can learn to do lots of tricks! He is already toilet trained and loves shaking hands at every chance he gets.
At the moment Shadow sleeps outside, but he is longing to cuddle up beside you inside and maybe even share a cuddle on your lounge. He loves to play games outside just as much as he loves to sit on your lap and cuddle.
He is a gorgeous boy who is looking for love and attention. He does get a little upset when you go out and leave him home alone and does tend to dig holes when no one is home, but giving him lots of things to do when you go out should help eliminate his boredom.
For more information or to meet Shadow, please phone or text Di on 0413 310 791. Shadow is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW (Lake Macquaire) and is available for adoption interstate.
Shadow's adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
