About Lucy
Meet Lucy a young happy go lucky kelpie cross Smithfield Heeler who loves nothing more than being with you even if it means lying next to you while you’re under a car.
Lucy came into care after her owners were unable to pay pound release fees. She has since be Microchipped de-sexed and vaccinated and then went into foster care. Her foster carer has done some basic training, so she will now sit drop and stay without treats.
She waits for her food and take treats gently. She knows inside is quiet time but still can take 5 minutes or so to settle down and curl up on her bed. Lucy has been living with three cats and two dogs. She has leant which cats she can and can’t play with and will give them space if they hiss.
She loves running and playing with other dogs but does need some more guidance on how to play with dogs as she can get a little rough. Lucy loves her shell pool and will find any water to flop in after running around even if it’s only 5 degrees outside.
Your home will be complete when you adopt Lucy. She will become your running partner and the reason to get out of bed in the morning. You will love nothing more than to be with her weather it while you sit a home curled up watch TV or out on a road trip. She makes your once empty backyard her playground and every time you look out at her she makes you smile with her antics.
