About Izzy (D2958)
Kelpie
I’m a dinki di Kelpie - very smart, slim, pretty and super active. I would love to earn my keep on a farm or station or to live with someone who enjoys running and obedience training as much as I do. I have a strong herding instinct but really, herding the cats I live with just doesn’t cut it. They have now gotten used to me trying to round them up and don’t pay any attention. I don’t sit still for long and love to run around and practice my herding skills on anything and everything. I have all the poses and stances already but just need some sheep to try them out on, or some obedience training challenges.
I’m still a puppy and can’t help jumping up in excitement. My foster mum is teaching me to stop and I am starting to get it. She says I am a bit bossy with other dogs but the old boy I live with doesn’t put up with any nonsense, so while I am pretty good with others of my kind, I like to think I’m the top dog. She also says I am not good with kids as I am just too excitable.
Izzy is currently located in Perth but please contact Karratha SAFE regarding any enquiries.
Medical notes
I am desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and toilet trained.
