About Maya ~ cattle dog x Staffy, puppy (Trial 29/5/15)
Hi my name is Maya. I was born 21st February 2015 so that makes me 11 weeks old. My foster mum says I am a little sweetheart. I am only little but I will grow.
My dad is a red cattle dog x staffie and my mum is a red cattle cross so I should not grow too big.
I really love to play with my 2 foster sisters. They are both bigger than me, one is really big, but I can catch them and because I am the littlest I can hide under things and they can't get me.
I am a good girl and am happy to share my dinner with my sisters. \ I am learning to come when I am called and if I should be caught doing something naughty and my foster mum says no I stop being naughty and run up for a big cuddle.
As well as my sisters there are chickens that live with us. I sometimes go and have a look at what they are doing but they don't bother me.
Because I am so little I can easily cuddle up on your lap to keep you company.
If you would like me to come and live with you you can ring my foster mum Anne 0412 837 867 or email her anne_armitage@bigpond and she can answer any questions you might have about me. We are in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie).
Mays’s adoption fee $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations; flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and you can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
