About Shari ~ Shar Pei x Koolie puppy (Trial 30/5/15)
Hi, I'm Shari and I am an Aquarian, born 18th February 2015 making me 11 weeks old. My dad is a Shar Pei cross and mum a Koolie. As you can see I currently have quite a few rolls, that I will growing into, so pretty sure I am going to be a big girl. My fur is blonde with a dark face, almost appears to be a dirty face, well this is what my foster dad affectionately calls me.
Since my escape from the floods in Maitland, I have found a lovely foster family, where I can do things I really enjoy like snuggling up on laps for a cuddle. I currently have a foster sister, a big foster sister and I am a good player and enjoy sharing my attention and bones with her. Recently, we have had another addition to our comfy home, a new little puppy and I decided I can share dinner and snuggle with the new little puppy that has come to live with us. Playtime is the best,I love to play with anyone whether they have 2 or 4 legs and I could just follow you around all day if I do not have a four legged playmate to occupy me.
My foster mum says I am a really good girl because if I am inside and need to go to the toilet I will let you know. I am learning to sit, I can do it but only for a little minute. I even can sit up on my haunches but I keep falling over. I love to go for a drive in the car, I just snuggle down and go to sleep. I am not worried about the chickens that live in the backyard. I just go and say hello to them every now and then.
If you think I would be the perfect new addition to your family and would like me to come and live with you can ring my foster mum Anne on 0412 837 867 or email her anne_armitage@bigpond.com. We are in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Sharie's adoption fee $450. Adoption fee includes herdesexing, vaccinations; flea and worm treatments, microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
