About Coleby ~ Bull Mast x Bull Arab (on trial 24/5/15)
Are you looking for me? My name is Coleby, and I am a 15 week old boy Bull Mastiff x Bull Arab. I haven't had the best start in life but am now in a better place, learning to love life and getting ready to meet a wonderful family to call my own.
I am a loving cuddly guy and love to play with my older foster siblings. They are teaching me to play gentler and not use those puppy teeth. I love love love being inside with my foster family, playing or snuggling on the lounge. While I am learning to be housetrained, I do make mistakes but I am still just a puppy.
I am learning to walk on a lead, to sit when asked and to respond to my name. I love to play with toys but prefer a doggy pal. I am great with my foster family's grandchildren aged 4 & 5. I love to eat but am not aggressive.
Do you have a doggy brother or sister for me to play with and learn from?
Will you take me for walks?
Will you love me and pamper me, help me forget the dark times?
Will you take me to puppy school, so I can be the best me?
Are you looking for me?
If you think you can offer me a loving home then please contact my foster mum Anne on 0428741398 or send an email to anne@coleair.com.au. I’m staying near Branxton in NSW.
As I am not desexed yet I am only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because I'll need to be returned to one of DRN vets for desexing when I'm 5 months old.
My adoption fee is only $400 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
