Monte came into our care after being dumped at the pound and his owner never came forward! How can anyone do this to such a beautiful boy!
When we collected Monte from the pound he was so scared and wet himself. He was shaking uncontrollably and with lots of cuddles he finally calmed down.
After a few weeks in foster care, Monte is a changed dog! He is so confident and is living with a few other small dogs and cats. He gets along so well with both his canine and feline friends.
Monte hasn't been tested with children however we believe he would be fine with children over 8 years old.
Monte would be good in a home with or without another dog, but if didn't have another friend he ideally would like a new owner who was home often as he does get a little lonely!

Monte is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped & heartworm tested.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
