About Marty
Check out Marty our newest recruit in Melbourne!
He comes to us from the Lost Dog's Home where he has been in their special needs program until he was well enough to be rehomed.
Marty is 10 years young and he arrived at the Lost Dog's Home in a very sad state, emaciated and virtually blind. He has received extensive veterinary care whist in their care, and after multiple eye surgeries and a loving foster home with Alisa you can see the stunning dog we now have in Marty.
Marty is a friendly and happy-go-lucky companion.
Marty is a social boy that loves to say hello to everyone. He is a real charmer! He loves the older children and he is happy to bounce around with them with his squeaker toys.
He gets excited when the lead comes out for a walk, but soon settles with a lovely prance. He has met other doggies out on walks and is happy to say hello. Some other dogs haven't shown the same enthusiasm but that doesn't bother him.
He enjoys hopping in the car and he travels well. He knows basic commands, he but would be keen to learn more especially if a treat is involved. He enjoys being the floor with you while being brushed.
Marty will let you know when it is food time. A gentle nudge will inform you he is ready to eat! He is happy to follow you around the house or have a snooze, but looooves his daily walks.
Marty will melt your heart!
