About Seamus
PLEASE NOTE: Seamus has been marked on hold until we sort through applications. He has not been adopted yet, we will keep in contact with all who have sent inquiries about him.
Gorgeous Mr Seamus is looking for his perfect family.
Seamus is a fantastic little puppy, weighting in at only 2.2kg at approximately 10 weeks of age. We expect him to mature around 5-7kgs. He has a gorgeous wirey coat that is amazingly soft and silky. We believe this is the papillon in him making it soft and silky.
Seamus loves to be a lapdog. He settles in very easily. He is confident and curious, with a little bit of spunk to him. He is learning house manners after living outside all his life, and is doing so very very quickly. He is not having accidents inside.
He loves his soft fluffy bed, and a rawhide stick to chew on. He is very accepting of jackets, leashes, harnesses and collars. He travels beautifully in the car, with no travel sickness and no vocalizing.
He is very intelligent, energetic and playful. He is also more focused on humans than other stimulus. We feel he would do well in any type of home.
Seamus currently lives in a foster home with his sister (not available for adoption), and a resident White Shepherd, so he is comfortable with larger dogs as well. He currently goes outside in a large wire pen.
He is a fantastic little watch dog as well, and he will alert to any changes or movements in the house and yard. He will also bark at cats, but after only 2 days in care hes already learning not to.
We cannot be sure of Seamus' exact breeding, but we feel he has a Jack Russell look, while his sister has a much stronger Papillon look.
Seamus is located near Leeton in New South Wales, but transport can be arranged anywhere at the adopters cost.
Medical notes
Seamus will be desexed in 2 weeks, and will then be available for adoption.
