Falkor

Friendly, quirky, independent and lots of fun - that's this little guy in a nutshell! Named after Falkor the luckdragon from The Never Ending Story who is also big and white and fluffy and great to have around (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Neverending_Story_characters#Falkor_the_Luckdragon - come on kids of the 80s and 90s, you know what I'm talking about!) this kitty is sure to bring so much happiness and joy to your home.
Falkor and his siblings were born rather unexpectedly, part of an unplanned litter - same old story, his mum got out and met up with a tom cat just before she had a chance to be sterilised. When the kittens were first born their mum expertly hid them away and the owners couldn't find them - a few weeks later they sadly found the bodies of two of them, and then found one live kitty. They thought that was it, and then out of the blue two more appeared - one of which was this little survivor!
Because Falkor didn't see a single human for the first 6 weeks of his life, he was pretty freaked out when he first came into foster care. Can you imagine how scary we would be if you had never met one of us before??!! He hissed and spat and climbed the flyscreens, pretending to be really big and tough and scary. What he didn't realise is that he was tiny and looked like a puff of cotton wool!

Now after weeks in his foster home, Falkor really is growing to be big and confident! He is SO so playful and loves to play with balls and mice and bits of paper and shoelaces and anything else that is going. He really adores playing with his siblings and is besotted with adult cats he meets so he would be a terrific addition to a home with an older cat looking for a play buddy.
Falkor is not really a super cuddly kitty - he will put up with a bit of babying (as you can see in his pic) but mostly he prefers to run around exploring and playing. He has never been around kids and would not be suited to small children but that's okay, he can become like your child! :)

In a new home Falkor will initially be very nervous, unsure and scared. It may take him quite a while (a week or more) to become settled and show off his true personality. So he is looking for a patient family who will be willing to give him the love and time he needs in order to reap the rewards of his copious love and hilarious antics.

Falkor also has a brother and sister up for adoption - he will be fine to be separated from them but if you really want two kitties well, here you go!
