Get your tissues ready because I want to tell you my story...Not too long ago I had a very unhappy life I was wandering the streets of Cairns searching in vain for my next meal trying to keep my strength up to feed my 7 babies. Trouble is nobody knew where my babies were and as I was so very scared I wouldn't lead anyone to them. I was rescued by a member of the public (my babies were finally found a few days later and have all now gone to their forever homes) and eventually bought to the RSPCA. I was in a sad way; skinny mangy and not very trusting but luckily I received the very best of care and with lots of love and patience I have blossomed into the beautiful Shar Pei you see today. After all I have been through the staff at the shelter are looking for the perfect home for me to go to. I am a big dog and therefore would suit a family with older children I need someone with patience understanding (an understanding of the breed will help too) and a whole lot of love to give me and in return I will reward you with my undivided loyalty as only a dog knows how. If you have a dog already you will need to bring him or her in to meet me as I can be a little bit choosy of my friends.Jemima has been desexed microchipped vaccinated and worm and flea treated.
