About Rosie on hold pending adoption
Rosie on hold pending adoption. Meet beautiful Rosie who found herself left at a Sydney animal shelter by her former owner and is now in our care at Concord and she could not be happier.
Rosie is a delightful girl and has settled into her foster carers home without a hitch and she is being showered with affection and is so loving in return. Rosie will need further lead training and we will ensure she receives this whilst in our care. Having been given toys to play with Rosie is enjoying the fun of playtime and carries her ball around with her now.
Being a seven year old German Shepherd Rosie is showing initial signs of arthritis in one of her hips but the vets assure us this can be managed well in the long term. Rosie has been bred by a registered breeder and their lines are excellent and hip and elbows score ratings are also very good so we feel that Rosie may have been hit by a car or received a knock whilst in the pound environment.
She has a beautiful loving nature and is a striking looking stock coated female German Shepherd who comes with her pedigree papers having been surrendered by her lifetime owner as they were moving overseas.
We would love Rosie to go to a home where she will be much loved and have inclusion in the family home as a companion dog with family who are home most of the day to keep her company. We want her to have a home where she is not left as just a yard dog as in her previous life but included as a much loved family member.
Please call Jo if you can offer Rosie the best life, have owned German Shepherd dogs previously and understand this intelligent breed. We do not re home our dogs as yard dogs or guard dogs so please do not contact us if you are looking for a dog to protect your property. Rosie is a gentle, loving dog who has impeccable manners and we want her to go to a home where she is loved and is the only dog in the household.
Rosie has not been tested with cats or pocket pets and she is NOT for interstate transfer..
Medical notes
Rosie is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated C5, on heart worm prevention and has had her hips x rayed and comes with her pedigree paperwork.
