Achilles is on hold pending adoption.

Meet magnificent Achilles a large male very striking young stock coated German Shepherd who is currently in care at Kurri Kurri. Achilles was surrendered into our care as his former owner realised he could not give the necessary time and commitment required for such an intelligent and active dog.

Achilles will need a committed owner and someone who has owned German Shepherd dogs before. He will grow into a 45 kilo plus dog so he will need a confident owner. He is social currently with his fellow rescues dogs both large and small but will need continued socialisation and further lead training.

This boy is fully house trained and would require daily exercise, stimulation and playtime. A must would be to ensure Achilles receives a morning jog and walks at night together with playtime to ensure he remains a calm dog.

With his size, good looks and intelligence this regal boy will definitely be a wonderful companion dog for a sensible German Shepherd savvy owner.
