About Banjo Irwin
Banjo Irwin, Kelpie cross a young 16 months, medium size (knee high) weighing approx 20kg
He is a beautifully natural boy.
He loves the company of people and is great with other dogs once introduced.
Currently in a foster home living with a family that has 2 children ages 8 and 11 as well as 2 big dogs, male 6yo and female 14 months. Does not show food aggression and is gentle when accepting his food.
Responding brilliantly with training and his basic commands of sit, stay, waiting for food on the leash and his recall off lead is constantly improving while enjoying the dog park.
Very intelligent dog who thrives on learning new things and would benefit from a confident family who will continue with his further training.
He is house trained while showing good manners inside. Loves going for walks, runs and rides in the car.
Fabulous with children, very tolerant and is a very smoochy boy it's lots of love to give.
He would be suitable for a family, if he is given a lot of attention and if left for long periods on his own, he would need the company of another dog if this was the case.
Previously has jumped farm fencing, so a secure fenced area is required.
Has shown a dislike to cats
Currently in care in Hurstbridge, Victoria
