About Charlie Girl ~ small mix breed (on trial 31/5/15)
Hi, I am Charlie Girl! Wanna play?! I am a 7 month old female mixed small breed who looks like a miniature Border Collie and I have the softest coat. I have unlimited energy and my foster mum says I am very clever. I am learning to sit and come to my name I am hoping you will teach me lots more as I am really keen to learn.
I’d like to tell you a little bit about my dream forever home. I am only little so I must sleep inside at night and have access to an inside area through the day, its cold outside for a little girl like me. I need a cosy lap to curl up on, 2 meals a day and I love to chew on meaty bones. I am currently living with 7 other dogs of all sizes and I love them all especially the big cuddly Labrador named Marley so, I will definitely need another dog to keep me company and to teach me manners.
You see I can be a little mischievous but I know you will be patient with me while I learn right from wrong. Now on to the subject of cats, wow they really look like fun creatures and they run really fast but my foster mum says I am not allowed to chase them so a home without cats or pocket pets would probably be a good idea.
I am learning to walk on a lead and love to go for walks with the other dogs there is so much to see. I love kids and I am very gentle I never bite and just want to cuddle. Seeing as though I am little I am not really suitable in a home with small children. Just a question, is there someone home through the day? I don’t mind being without human company for short periods as long as there is another dog but I am young and need training.
If you would like to meet me please contact my foster mum Annie on 0435 535 338 or via email. You will need to complete and adoption application telling my foster mum all about my new home. She says I am a precious little munchkin and only the best home will do. aww shucks that’s me. Charlie Girl is located in New Lambton.
Charlie Girl's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
