About Peter ~ Foxy X ~Good with kids,cats (Trial 23/5/15
Introducing little Peter (Rabbit) he is looking for his forever home. He is approximately 2 years old foxy x. Peter is a very affectionate and cuddly little fellow, that just fits in with your lifestyle, he is very adaptable and just loves to sit with you on the lounge.
Peter is currently living with 2 cats and three kids, he is easy going and low maintenance therefore he can suit most homes. He loves human company so his forever home would preferably be where someone is home most of the time.
Peter doesn't seem to be distracted by other dogs when going for a walk so another smaller dog should be ok. He is a little excited when first starting his walk but with some perseverance and rewards he should settle relatively quickly.
Peter loves playing outside chewing on his favorite treat but he is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. He needs good fences, 5 feet or higher, without gaps underneath.
Peter loves playing with his toys and playing fetch. He is toilet trained and he sleeps inside at the moment on the kid’s bed. He has a very kind nature and is happy to share his food with the cats or anyone else.
Peter is a gorgeous boy, if you think you can provide his forever home please fill out an adoption questionnaire.
For more information or to meet Peter, please contact his foster carer Ann on 0409 661 875 or email pippens_mum@hotmail.com. Peter is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Peters's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
