About Bella ~ English Staffordshire(Trial 22/5/15)
Hi I’m Bella, I am a 2 ½ year old pure bred English Staffordshire Terrier (staffy). I’m fun loving, affectionate and a very fast learner. My foster mummy thinks I’m adorable with my big beautiful brown eyes and big staffy smile what’s not to love?
I like to think I’m a smart girl you see, I learnt to sit, stay, drop, roll over, how to use the doggie door and toilet trained myself in just one week, impressive right? I would love a furever home that will continue my training.
I just love being around people and being part of the family whether its potting around in the yard or snuggling up to watch a movie I want to be right by your side. I get along well with dogs of all ages and I’m extremely patient with my foster brother who just wants to wrestle and lay all over me all the time. I love kids but at times I forget how strong I am so I would be better suited to a family with older children.
I enjoy walking on a lead and running after my foster mummy at the park, I always come when I am called so ideally I would love a furever family that is going to take me for walks so I can be social and get amongst it.
I would love a home with a canine companion but it’s not a requirement as long as I have lots of human attention. I can be a little demanding (what women isn’t!) just because I want to be close to you, so I would be best suited to a family that does not work full time so I can have lots of cuddles!
When I came into foster care I had a very sore back leg and couldn’t walk on it, my foster mummy organised for me to have surgery to get my knee fixed and now I feel much better. Well that’s enough about me for now, I can’t wait to get to know you!

Bella’s adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
