About Maisie
Maisie spent all of her life until Rescue as a breeder in a puppy farm. She is used to people and other dogs, and has adjusted readily to living in her foster carer's house which is relatively quiet and has friendly dogs to play with. However, life beyond the garden gate is very frightening to her!
We require a special home for this special little girl, one who will understand her past history and help her to continue learning about life outside of a pen. Someone who is home most of the time, and has a social and well-adjusted dog to be a companion to Maisie, is preferred. If you have the time, experience and ability to help Maisie realise her full potential, please apply to adopt this sweetheart.
Maisie is fostered in WAGGA WAGGA. We will not put her on commercial transport of any kind, the successful applicant will need to collect her in person.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
5. Adoption transaction completed.
