About #117 - Digger
This fellow has been waiting quite some time. He arrived to the pound in a very emaciated condition and was very scared. With the dedication of the ranger he has put on a lot of weight and has come out of his shell. He's still quite unsure at first but in an interested way. He wants to know you but doesn't fully trust at the start - approaching low to the ground, tail tucked. He proved a completely affectionate, loving, sweet dog once I introduced myself and allowed a full body touch as well as grinning at the camera, and whenever I scratched his bottom he would groom my arm. He sat on my feet and relished the attention. He has proven good with other dogs. He is also trained to sit and stay and is very obedient. Doesn't jump or make much noise. A really nice dog who has come a long way in the time he has been in the pound.
Medical notes
Digger came in extremely thin but has now regained most of the lost weight. No other health issues noted.
