About Sadie
Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce to you, Sadie, the Shetland Pony.
Sadie came to us after she was ordered to the doggers.
She is about 19 years old and is in fairly good overall condition, for a previously neglected pony.
Her temperament is exceptionally good. She is a true sweetheart, very calm, quiet, patient with people and great with all other animals.
She comes when she is called and I honestly can't fault her (except for when she is trying to steal the dog bickies or the chicken food!!).
Sadie has had her teeth filed a bit, but she will need some further treatment in about 6 months. Full details available to potential adopters. It appears she has never had her teeth done before and she has quite a long tooth impacting her lower jaw, she did have mouth ulcers but they are clearing. I have the dentists details who would like to see her again, for the new owner.
We are looking for a special home for her, one with some pony / horse friends, where she can enjoy retirement and get the care she needs and deserves.
Probably too old to be ridden and worked.
Sadie does have an adoption fee of $350 attached to her, this money goes back into her rehabilitation costs and enables us to keep rescuing other animals in need.
For more information, please send us an email.
She is currently located in Greenbank.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption price) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Greenbank on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
