Alexis the Attractive Cat

My name is Alexis, which in Greek means “to help, protect and defend.” I think that’s why my foster mum called me that – because I am very helpful in guiding and protecting the little kittens here in foster care. I know how they feel – I was abandoned at the pound with two other kittens and I was really scared. When I arrived here, I was a bit lost, lonely and not sure what I was doing here. But being here with all these lovely people and pretty cats has really helped me find my courage. I’ve found that there people who are really nice and who give me yummy food and lots of pats. Now, I’m a really sweet and friendly cat - I love people, I love when they give me cuddles and I love letting them know that. My foster mum says I’m a real sweetie pie – and a bit of cuddle bug, but I’m happy to hang out on my own and get some beauty sleep. My foster mommy thinks I’m an attractive, voluptuous black and white lady. I think I’m rather nice-looking, maybe even pretty – I even have a little beauty mark on my chin. I’m very well-behaved with other cats - I even make sure the younger cats here have someone they can come to in their time of need. I like it here in foster care, but I’d really love to be in my own home that I can protect and defend. I’d be happy to share it with another cat friend and I like all people, little or big. If you take me home, I promise to love you, and snuggle you and help you around the house and be the sweetest cat you can ever have.
