About Helix ~ Purebred American Staffy (Trial 20/5/15)
Helix 16 month old male Purebred Staffy (DNA profile pending). Meet Helix - a healthy, active and friendly boy who is very smart and an extremely fast learner.
Because Helix is such a calm and friendly soul, he easily makes everyone he meets fall in love with him. Helix is an exceptional dog who would make a great companion for a young and active family. This charming boy walks well on the lead, loves the dog park, sits on command and waits for food.
Helix has lived in a household with four other dogs, including two Staffy pups, a Highland Westie and gets along famously with all of them. At the moment, he is in foster care in Mudgee with a young family. Being very good with children, people and other animals, Helix demonstrates excellent behavioural and social skills in all situations. \
If you have been searching for the perfect companion dog, Helix would tick all the boxes. He has a very low maintenance short coat that can easily be cared for by just a bath and the occasional brushing. This gentleman is a dream to look after.
Helix has been both an inside and outside dog, so he is fairly flexible. He would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home.
Recently surrendered (through no fault of his own) to Dog Rescue Mudgee, Helix is looking for a permanent home.
If you feel you can provide this super friendly boy with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or drnmudgeebranch@yahoo.com.
Helix's adoption fee is $400. He is desexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
