Rescued laying hens.
LOVING FOREVER PET HOMES ONLY.

These gorgeous ladies were rescued before going to slaughter from an egg farm.
They have all been wormed and have lovely, unique personalities.
Due to the quantity - individual selection is not available. Quantity wanted will be selected at random. They are all red although the odd blackone comes through. All about 18 months old. Ex-battery.
Chickens will need to have free range option and you will need to adhere to your council guidelines for keeping them.
They will need a safe, dry place (as fox, and snake proof as possible) with nesting boxes.
These chickens should lay for at least a few more years yet.
Organic, fresh eggs and saving a life? What's better than that?
The more that are adopted, the more we can save.
Greenbank, Jimboomba or Logan Village areas for collection. $10 each
Normal adoption processes apply.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption price) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Greenbank on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
