About Tasha ~ Pomeranian (On Trial 22/5/15)
Tasha is a 6 year old Pomeranian. Active, intelligent, loyal and loveable are all traits that belong to her. Isn't she gorgeous?
This sweet girls eyes could charm anyone into falling in love with her. She will lick and nuzzle your hand when she wants affection and jump around enthusiastically when she wants to play.
Sadly Tasha was surrendered due to her owners moving abroad, she is looking for a family to call her own.
Due to her playful nature, Tasha would suit an active family. Although energetic, Tasha loves nothing more than to snuggle up at night in the warmth of the family home. She is very affectionate and loves to give you puppy kisses. With a face like hers, who could resist.
Tasha has always slept at the end of the bed with the humans in her life and she would benefit from somewhere she is able to do the same, even if it is just for the transition period.
She's currently in foster care with two other small breed dogs and has adjusted to them well. Tasha absolutely adores her lead and jumps around excitedly when she sees it. If you leave it clipped on to her collar after a walk she plays with it as if it were alive and playing back. This girl is just a fluffy bundle of fun!
On entering a new environment or when exposed to loud noises or unexpected movements, Tasha can be quite timid and sensitive. With love, patience and support from her family and time to settle in Tasha will gain confidence. Change can be scary for any dog so it is important we understand that when we introduce a dog to our home.
Tasha is inquisitive about this world and loves to know what is happening. Some might go as far as to call her a bit nosey. There is so much to see and do, who can blame her for not wanting to miss out on the fun.
For more information on Tasha please contact Cassie via email at cass_7_skye@hotmail.com . She is in care in Aberglasslyn NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Tasha’s adoption fee is $450 and includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
