About Sammy (Sam)
Hi, meet Sammy a sweet and gentle Golden Purebred Retriever lady.
Sammy is very sweet and gets on very well with her foster host dog and other dogs she meets on fer daily walks. Sammy is very affectionate and wants to be around you as much as possible, so Sammy is best suited to someone home most days and will let her inside the home and interact with family. sammy is in foster care with no children, and has met out walking and was tail wagging and happy. Sammy would be best suited to an active couple or family with older children or teenagers.
Sammy's foster mum said she is a smart girl and is very affectionate. Sammy thrives on human interaction and will constantly please you.
Sammy loves long walks on the beach and loves the water. So if you are looking for a dog to go to the beach outings or just hang by the pool on a summer's day, you'll need to contact Amanda and let me know that you want to meet Sammy.
Sammy would love to find a family that she can call her own or even another doggie companion that Sammy can spend her days with while her human fa,ily are out and about.
Sammy is NOT cat friendly, and loves to bark and chase them. Sammy is best suited to a family without CATS and domestic BIRDS.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and me.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Sammy is located in Wamberal on the Central Coast of NSW where she lives with her foster family.
Medical notes
Past medical history unknown. Sammy was dumped at the local pound by her previous owner's and Rescued by Wally's Doggie Rescue.

When enquiring about Sammy, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
We do our best to provide you with a clear understanding of our dogs needs and their temperaments, so please help us by providing as much information as you can about your home and lifestyle so that we get an idea if this is the right home for our baby.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
