Female Birman Mix Cat
I've been adopted!
Welcome Poppy everyone. Poppy is a sweet 9 week old birman cross little girl who had a bit of a rough start to life. Poppy sustained an injury at birth that resulted in her experiencing an infection in her paw that travelled through her rear leg. At just 1 week old it was suggested that we put her to sleep or amputate the leg. Both options seeming extreme we opted for the 3rd option of antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and daily bathing. Well this little girl overcame the odds and went from strength to strength. She runs, plays, wrestles and climbs and is enjoying her kittenhood no differently then her siblings. She even surprised the vets. Poppy's rear paw is a little malformed but it does not limit her in any obvious way. It would safest for Poppy to be an indoor girl. Poppy is available for expressions of interest. Please contact us if you would like to know more about Poppy.
