About Bettie
Hi all, my name is Bettie, and I'm a 7yr old Fox Terrier x with a heart of gold. I found myself in a situation not so long ago where my owner felt I needed to be re homed. This worried me A LOT as this was the only home I had ever known, but Wallys opened their hearts and home to me and I am now being fostered in a great home with 4 other doggie friends, 2 kids and my foster mum and dad and I love them all.
Things I love include going for walks, playing with my furry foster brother and sisters, snuggling up for a cuddle with my foster family, catching flies (my foster mum says I'm the best fly catcher ever) and just being part of a family. Things I don't like include, thunderstorms (they petrify me) and being left on my own for long periods of time. As long as I have somewhere safe and hidden, I am happy to ride out the storm in my ‘safe place’ and being left alone for long periods does get me quite anxious, so a home where someone is home a lot would be ideal.
I’m really no trouble to have around as I'm fully toilet trained, dog and cat friendly, child friendly, happy and just content to be involved as part of the family. I'm also not fussy with what I'm being fed so long as I have a full belly at the end of each day. I have had my vet check and vaccination and been given a clean bill of health.
If you think this sounds like your type of companion, then my foster mum sure would love to hear from you, she only wants the best for me so please understand she will want to know lots about you. I will need some time to settle into my new home, as it's quite overwhelming moving into a strange house with people I don't know, but as my foster mum has seen, I am a very loving pooch and once I'm feeling comfortable within my new surroundings, will give you nothing but love and cherished memories to last your lifetime.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Bettie. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Bettie, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
