About Morty (special needs)
Morty is such a little cutie! He loves attention and a good cuddle. He adores being around people and other cats.
Morty is vision impaired and needs a dedicated family to take him on and provide him with the love and care he both needs and deserves. He needs to have another cat in the home who will take him under their wing and show him the ropes. He also needs to be a 100% indoor cat as new environments may overwhelm him.
Morty had an awful start to life. He was found on the side of a main road with his 3 brothers stuffed inside a take away container only days old. A lady driving boy spotted the container and something made her turn her car around to have a look. She said she could feel something wasn't right. To her horror, there were the boys, small enough to fit in her palm. She scooped them up and took them to the local vet clinic. A nurse bravely took them on for a few days and got them stable enough to be transferred into rescue care.
The boys arrived at about 100g. A busy 6 weeks of around the clock feeding and nursing, with a big bout of illness, then a transition to solids, the boys are now thriving! And Little Morty is ready to find his forever family.
Due to being hand raised, Morty is a very 'human' cat and can lack some cat skills.
Morty uses his litter box wonderfully.
