About Sophie
Hey, Sophie is my name. I came into care with Wallys along with my sisters Ava and Maggie. I'm now in a foster home with 3 other doggies and they are teaching me how things roll here!
I’m not going to lie, they thought I was a ratbag when I first came into care, but I guess that's what happens when we aren't taught any manners or had human contact. But, that's all in the past now, because I've now been taught that humans are there to care for me, love me and teach me right from wrong, and the foster carers who know me think that I've come a long way already!
I'm really quite sweet, lovable and VERY smart. I've just about mastered toilet training and learning to sit before getting my dinner or treats and understanding that sharing is caring when it comes to other dogs/people and my food. I LOVE kids and cuddles and rumbling with my foster buddies. I would love to find a home that I can call my own.
It wouldn't bother me too much if I was to be an only dog, as long as I was allowed to be an active member of the family and allowed to live both inside and outside with you. But, another doggie companion would also be fantastic!
As I’m still a young pup, I will need ongoing training in my new home so that I grow up to be a well mannered and sociable girl who will provide you with many years of love and cherished memories. To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training club will provide 3 free training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ so please utilise this awesome gift that will benefit both you and me.
I'm booked in for desex on 4th June and will be available for adoption from 6/7th June.

When enquiring about Sophie, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
