Archie

Quite simply, Archie is a really nice dog. He was nicknamed "Mr Cuddles" by the first little girl who met him when he came into care and has lived up to it since.

We do not know his background, but he has had basic training. He has lovely manners too. He walks well on a lead, he will sit, he comes when called - actually, if you are squatting when you call him, he'll race back, skid into a 'sit' and tuck his head into you - it's impossible not to smile when he does this.

He is lovely with other dogs. He is friendly, but independent.

He has beautiful red and tan colouring - actually the 'red' is more like a dark caramel colour.

In care, he has been quiet. He hasn't dug or tried to jump fences. He seems happy in a spot in the yard where he can see what's going on.

He is past the puppy stage, but has many years of companionship to give. If you are looking for a genuinely 'nice dog' Archie might be your boy.
