Loolah ~ Kelpie X (On Trial 27/4/15)

Beautiful Loolah is searching for her forever home; you could not meet a more deserving, loyal dog. She is a gorgeous, 4 year old, female, Kelpie x who’s playful, puppy nature and cheeky attitude is hard not to fall in love with. Her loving, affectionate and kind hearted nature makes her the perfect playmate for any companion. Loolah is very playful and will utilise any opportunity for a cuddle or pat. This precious girl is more than happy laying on your lap watching tv with you, playing with the kids or having a run around the yard.

Loolah deserves to be the happy, excitable puppy she is in a loving and welcoming environment. She is eager to show a lucky family how wonderful she really is!

Loolah loves spending time with you but does not suffer separation anxiety and would be more than happy to play in the yard while you are at work and also sleep outside so long as she had another dog her own size or larger outside with her. She gets a bit nervous being outside, at night, in new environments but would soon adapt. She'd love to come inside and enjoy your companionship.

Loolah loves a good rowdy, puppy play and this will entertain her all day until she’s ready for a rest. If there are other pets at home than they will need to be extremely tolerant and willing to have a play and of similar or larger size as Loolah is still a puppy at heart. She is best suited at a home with no cats as they are a toy to Loolah and it is not well received by the recipient.

Loolah has grown up with two children since they were babies so she is fantastic with kids and, with some guidance, knows when enough is enough. She has also spent time with people of all ages and would be perfectly suited to a family of any age or size.

Loolah is young and active, and I would love her to go to a home where she can be regularly exercised and get a run.She walks excellently on the lead and sits before crossing roads, stays and comes when called and shows no signs of food aggression nor is she fussy with food.

Loolah does have some habits that appear when she is bored- including digging and barking. I believe with appropriate exercise and attention which she was limited to prior to foster care, these habits, created out of boredom, will no longer be an issue. However, it is something to be aware of and as mentioned she may need some effort and training put in.

She is an excellent student! She responds well to food rewards and praise! Spending a bit of time with Loolah each day to teach her a few things would be extremely beneficial for her inquisitive mind, as she loves using the time to spend time with you and is very eager to learn. I hope that Loolah will find an owner who can consistently train her to be the best dog she can be.

Loolah has come from a loving home but has unfortunately \ missed out on some critical areas of training and socialisation which she is eager to learn. She is a beautiful, loyal and loving girl and is desperate for someone to put in the time she deserves.

Gorgeous Loolah would make the perfect pet for any family who is willing to put the time and effort in to make her the best possible dog she can be. She will bring you lots of joy in return! Loolah deserves a second chance at a happy life full of love. Can you be the one to give her this?
